Study Tour
The Seven Churches of Revelation and Istanbul Tour is an opportunity to follow in the footsteps of John and explore the locations of the seven churches mentioned in the opening chapters of Revelation. During your stay you will visit the sites of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamon, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea. You will also visit the site of Colossi. These ancient cities were home to early Christian communities all receiving significant letters contained in the New Testament.
Following a short internal flight, we will visit Istanbul including visits to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Galatia Tower, underground cisterns and the Grand Bazaar. As this was the centre of the Eastern Empire, the city played a significant role in the advancement of Christianity and hosted four of the first seven ecumenical church councils.

Cost
Anyone is welcome to attend at full cost. However, all active officers who have served 20 years or more will be eligible to participate in an organised tour of Türkiye or Israel and the Palestinian Territories at half price.
The full cost is £2,400, which includes the benefit of an experienced guide, transport (including all flights and coach travel), high quality hotel accommodation, food (breakfast and evening meals), all admissions and travel insurance (if under 85 years of age). However, the cost does not include lunches, personal purchases, and travel costs of getting to and from the departure location (from a London airport).
