Leadership and Management Level 5 Apprenticeship
The Leadership and Management Level 5 Apprenticeship is designed for senior managers who are responsible for leading teams, managing departments and driving organisational performance. The programme focuses on developing strategic leadership skills, enabling learners to plan and implement business objectives, manage change and influence wider organisational direction.

Requirements
To start the apprenticeship, learners must:
- Be employed in a role with significant management responsibility, such as leading teams, projects or departments.
- Have the opportunity within their role to demonstrate leadership and management at a strategic level.
There are no formal academic entry requirements, however learners are typically expected to have significant management experience or to have completed a Level 4 apprenticeship or equivalent qualification. Learners may also be required to achieve Essential Skills Wales qualifications as part of the framework if not already held.
Length of programme
The Leadership and Management Level 5 Apprenticeship typically takes 21 months to complete, depending on the learner’s role, experience and pace of achievement.
